Utah Man Am I

Not too long ago I posted about my dislike for football season (but please remember that I did exclude Utah football from that post). Last night was a great night for Utah Football. I love (and hate) close games. The feeling in the stadium when the score is so close and the time is so little is excited yet nervous at the same time... there's that "what if..." going through everyone's mind. You can always tell who the pessimists are because they are walking out of the stadium with 2 minutes left of game time... the rest of us are hopeful... and last night our optimism paid of in a GREAT win by the Utes against the Oregon State Beavers (an unfortunate name... in my opinion).
Jake and I (mostly Jake) broke down the game last night and discussed (again not really a discussion... more of me showing off my wonderful listening skills) what this means for our precious Utes. I'm no dummy, I know it's always better to win... but apparently this win means much more for the Utes than I realized. I'm sure you football fans already realize all the good things this win means for our Utes... and the rest of you probably don't care, so I won't bore you.

But I have to say... a game like last night's actually leaves me thinking that the 3 1/2 hours of football actually went by fairly quickly. Sports seriously mess with my head.

Anyway... GO UTES!!!

Perhaps I should have a chat with Jake. Everyone is sick of listening to me talk about Utah and the games they have to win to remain in the top 25. Not to mention I walk around shouting "A Utah Man Sir And Will Be Til I Die" around a bunch of BYU fans. It is great! I LOVE FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!

Gotta love Louie! We haven't seen a game like this since Urban. I love Football season too, but the cold games are coming up. Take care and I hope to see you around. Oh what is your brother Pat upto these days?
