Vacations are over. I am going through withdrawals. I don't know how I will handle FIVE consecutive days of work. I will post about the wonderfulness of vacations when I catch up on my hundreds of emails. In the meatime...
Marriage Tip #2: (I need to work on this one)
Don't assume your significant other knows what your thinking. He has no idea. Call him out when something bothers you or hurts your feelings. Holding it in only prolongs bad feelings, and makes you more upset that he hasn't figured out why you're upset.

Kristine,
Welcome back from vacation! The best marriage advice I ever received was, "Don't go off to bed mad." I have heard other ways to express this, i.e. "Never let the sun set on your anger," but I like our succinct and very southern version best!
Well...as a good friend of mine always says....FIGHT NAKED!!!!! That is my advice...can't say I have ever done that though! We miss you guys terribly! Let's do something soon!
Kristine!! How have you been?? I am loving that you are posting more, it gives me something to do in the day to occupy some of my time:)
probably a little too much of my time.
Five full days of work? Brutal....weird to hear that they expect you to spend so much time working. :)
Glad to hear you're back - it was great to spend time with you in Lake Powell! We keep telling Stella that she will need to have a play date with her new friend soon!
Oh, I know all about the withdrawls. Hang in there... it took me about 2 weeks to recover from newport. i finally just started to become a good wife and cook again!
